Based in West Sussex, Wisbourgh Green Touch Rugby Club is in its sixth year and is growing! This year we have created a juniors section due to the huge demand from juniors last year.
Touch is one of the UK’s fastest growing sports and we are proud to be leading the way in training and playing to the Federation of International Touch Rules. It’s a fast and high intensity game which will develop strength, stamina and agility. Past experience is not necessary and you don’t need to have the fitness of an Olympic athlete. You should have the desire to attain a high level of fitness in time.
During the season we train and play every Tuesday seniors) and Thursday (juniors) evening on the Green from 7pm sharp. And of course having displaced so many carbs they soon get replaced after each session.
Our vision is:
Improve: Create a culture and an environment that encourages improvement through fitness, skill and a balanced competitive approach
Include: Provide an inclusive environment that caters for all skill and fitness levels with the ultimate goal of enjoying the sport of touch rugby (and associated social activities…)
Enjoy: Ensure that the enjoyment of the game and the team environment is always upheld
Come and play!
